I love this fabric for Christmas! This baby girl was so good for her newborn session. I had the joy of taking maternity pictures for her mom and dad and they are such a wonderful couple that had been praying for this baby girl long before she was born. What a sweet little miracle!
Christmas baby
So, I was going to do the 12 babies of Christmas and post a new Christmas baby ever day until Christmas until I realized we don’t even have 12 days until Christmas, so this will have to be the 8 babies of Christmas! I’ve loved using all of my adorable Christmas hats and props for these sessions so I guess I will have to go prop shopping to make up for not getting to use these until next year. November and December were jammed full of sweet little newborns and I enjoyed photographing each and every one. It is such an honor to capture these precious memories. So without further adieu, I give you Christmas baby #8 (these are in no particular cuteness order).
Reindeer Baby
This little girl is a natural born model. Isn’t she about the cutest little thing ever?! Her mom is a hairstylist in Shelbyville so it was only fitting that this sweet baby came out with a head-full of gorgeous dark hair. I had a week full of sweet newborn boys, but it was nice to pull back out the bows! She did amazing for her session and is the only newborn I’ve ever gotten the “froggy pose” on two different backdrops. Thank you so much for letting me capture your sweet baby girl!
Little Angel
This little boy was such an angel for his newborn session. I had the pleasure of getting to know his parents at their maternity session at their home in Smyrna. They are such a sweet couple and I was thrilled to meet the newest member of the family! His parents did an excellent job at following my suggestions to prepare for their newborn sessions and it really makes such a difference! Baby Bundle
This baby girl did great for her session. When I walked in the parents warned me that she hated being naked so we cranked up the thermostat and she was so warm I don’t even think she noticed she was naked! baby girl is already spoiled rotten and loves to be held which I think is wonderful because the grow so fast why not hold them every minute! Thank you so much for letting me come into your home and capture your precious little angel!

Special thanks to the owners who were kind enough to let us use their lot for this special session. Sweet Pea
I have been wanting to take pictures of newborn twins for a while now so I was so excited when Holly contacted me about her sweet little angels. They were born a little early and spent some time in the NICU and things got busy for this momma so when she told me they were 3 months old I will admit I was a little nervous. I try to photograph newborns in the first 2 weeks and even though they were early I thought they might not like being posed. I was so wrong!!! These were the easiest newborns I’ve done to date! Could they be any cuter??? Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your sweet newborn (or not so newborn) angels!!

In case I don’t say it enough, I love photographing newborns! Isn’t she adorable?! And look at that hair! This little girl was one week old today and was a little doll for our session. She started out wide awake, but once we got her to sleep she allowed me to pose her like a champ. Mom and Dad took the time during the newborn session to get caught up on work so they have no idea what the pictures look like yet. I always think that is fun! Thank you so much Keri and John for letting me spend time with baby “K”. You guys are such a sweet couple and already wonderful parents!

I went to High School and College at Lipscomb University with “E’s” mommy and daddy. They are a beautiful family and “E” is no exception! This baby girl was a little over 3 weeks old so I was curious how well she would do. She was WIDE AWAKE when I got there, but once we got her to sleep she did amazing!!! I feel so blessed to get to have such a fun job of capturing the innocence of newborns. I say this all the time, but newborn sessions never get old. They are all so different and every one so precious. Thank you so much for letting me take pictures of your little angel!
