Wall Display Guides- Nashville, TN Portrait Photographer

I’m really excited to announce that I now offer wall display guides to assist clients in ordering their pictures!  This is a really great feature which allows clients to vision what their portraits will look like in key places of their home.  What is better than a beautiful canvas above the crib in the nursery so that you can display your precious newborn portraits, but not all sizes will have the same effect. Wall Display guides are a wonderful way for clients to envision and creatively decide what pictures they want and actually figure out where they will be placed in their home.  Please contact me and let me know if you would like to further discuss your family portraits and start decorating your walls today!

This couple is truly the most beautiful couple I have ever seen.  I promise this is a real couple and not models I hired to build my portfolio!  I had so much fun with them and they were up for anything I wanted to try.  We thought we might get rained on, but the clouds broke through and we just ended up with a great breeze.  This was a fun shoot and I’m so looking forward to the wedding in September!

This little girl was just a doll and we had a great portrait session.  I pulled out the Lollipop just as we were finishing out our session and it broke into a million pieces so we had to leave the wrapper on for the shot with a little tear in the back so she could still enjoy it and get her sweets right before bed =)  It was a pleasure working with this family and I’m looking forward to seeing them again!

Photoshop Friday- Murfreesboro Tennessee Child & Family Photographer

I love looking at other photographers that inspire me and always enjoy when they post before and after pictures.  Photography is an art and each photographer has their own style and it is that style that is brought to life during editing.  It is very important to get a good image straight out of camera and most professional photographers shoot in raw which allows for more editing capabilities, but the images straight out of camera always look a little “dull”.  I tend to prefer bold vibrant colors in my editing and I thought that suited this image perfectly.  The top image is straight out of camera and the bottom image is the final product.  I hope you enjoyed this post.  I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below!

2 Little Cuties- Tennessee Nolensville Child & Family Photographer

This family is such a wonderful family and I always enjoy the time I spend with them.  We battled some crazy heat through this shoot and I was hoping keeping our feet in the creek would keep us cool, but the creek felt like bath water!  I was so excited to use the hay-bales in the field across from this creek, but when we got there they were gone, but we still got some great shots!

I went to school this little boys sweet mommy and was so happy to take pictures for her family. “M” seriously looks like a little Gap model which makes my job easy!  His mommy is so talented and had embroidered several  shirts he wore for the session. 3 Month Old “E” – Brentwood & Nashville, TN Child & Famiy Photographer

Miss “E” was my very first newborn and I was so excited to get to take her 3 month pictures. She is such a doll and she handled the “tummy time” well for her shoot. We worked hard the entire shoot to get a smile and then finally at the very end of the shoot (after a little nap) she gave us a great big smile. It was well worth waiting for.
