I just love capturing newborn babies sweet details. They are so tiny and innocent. I always love when clients are interested in capturing these details and putting them together to make a body parts panel from their newborn session. Babies grow so fast and this helps you remember forever just how small they once were. Precious Newborn Details
This sweet baby boy did amazing for his newborn session. His parents booked their maternity session with me so I had already gotten a chance to know them before the newborn session. I always love maternity sessions because it gives me a chance to meet the parents and share in the joy and excitement of their little miracle! He did amazing for his baby session and had no problem with the poses at all! Baby “S” did amazing for his baby session and had no problem with the poses at all so we took advantage of a prop I’ve been wanting to use for a while!

Sweet Baby Boy
I had such a wonderful time with this little doll at their home in Murfreesboro. I took her parents Maternity Pictures and had such a wonderful time getting to know them and their personalities. Miss “T” started out sleepy for todays newborn session, but quickly decided she was over the whole sleeping thing so we were able to get a few poses swaddled with her beautiful eyes. I always think swaddled newborns are so precious anyways. We took advantage of the fall season with this precious pumpkin hat that was sent to me by Star Blossoms. Sweet Autumn Baby
This wonderful family was a referral from a recent maternity/newborn client. Referrals are the greatest compliment I can get so I was really looking forward to meeting the “K” family. Mom took advantage of my September special and booked her newborn session to receive a mini-maternity session. Fortunately for her, I am terrible at mini-sessions and we still had a full gallery of pictures for her. We met up at Harlinsdale Farms in Franklin, tn for her maternity session. The weather was perfect. The couple has 2 fun and energetic girls and they are so excited to welcome a baby boy into the family. I brought some pumpkins to celebrate fall and she just happened to wear this adorable orange shirt that went perfect with them!

This is a new favorite image! I just love newborn sessionsbecause they are all as different as the babies in them! Miss “S” didn’t want to sleep at the beginning of the session, but finally passed out in the end and we got some precious shots. I hope you enjoy!
Sweet "S"
I had such a fun time meeting this sweet little girl. She was so easy to photograph! She picked flowers and I would occasionally asked her to look up for a shot and we both left happy! She had on such an adorable outfit and a great example of what to wear to a child portrait session. It was bright and playful and represented her personality wonderfully! I think this might be one of my last “flower sessions” before we get ready for fall leaves and it ended summer on a good note!
This little girl was scheduled for a C-Section and came a whole week early. So it was a surprise for everyone! She did beautifully for her newborn session and I just adored her beautiful brown hair. Her daddy is a police officer and his mom wanted this shot and it is just priceless. I hope it ends up as a canvas in her daddy’s office! Introducing Miss “S”.

This little girl was an angel for our session this morning. Isn’t she adorable?! I was a little nervous since she was 3 weeks old and I try to get newborn’s under 2 weeks, but she did beautifully. Newborn Sessions never get old and each baby is so precious. Please do not let the moment go uncaptured. The grow so fast! It was a joy meeting this family and I look forward to watching her grow!
Sweet "R"
I had the best time getting to know this couple. I loved that they are celebrating their 1 year anniversary and wanted to get some pictures taken. So many times we forget to celebrate ourselves as couples and what a joy and blessing marriage is. We headed out to my favorite location and even though we were eaten by mosquitos we got some great shots. I loved watching this couple interact and flirt. She has the sweetest smile and I just enjoyed my time with them.
I’m excited to post my first fall “What to Wear Wednesday”. Just because it is fall doesn’t mean you have to stick with dark colors! There are plenty of bright fall colors that make for great fall family portraits! The leaves should start changing in Murfreesboro around October so now is the time to start planning. Fall is filling up quickly so don’t wait to schedule your session!
